Built in 1959, the villa is nestled among mature trees on a vast plot of land. Our task was to revitalise the architecture, which had been distorted in many places over the years, and to adapt and develop the interior organisation and technical facilities to suit today’s needs. A characteristic feature of the large glazed building is the recurring interplay between the indoor and outdoor areas. To reinforce this effect, we selected a uniform floor covering for all areas from the garden at the front and entrance area through to the living areas and internal courtyards, and even including the spacious patio areas.
