The small concept store in Cologne’s city centre, with an area of just 50 m², was built as a pilot project by the brand Studio Juste, which sells ecological and fair trade fashion trends. To meet the needs of the environmentally-conscious range with a corresponding ambience, and to make it stand out as a unique design, we placed a great deal of importance on sustainability when it came to the furnishings. Once the former fittings were dismantled, the walls were left raw and the floor was fitted with oversized, untreated herringbone flooring. Both of these striking, spatially remarkable surfaces frame the simple furnishings perfectly, leaving the products to speak for themselves.
