Residential house in Koblenz

The exposed hillside property above the Moselle river near Koblenz provides a unique view over the city and the riverscape. Amidst this special topography, we created an innovative familiy residence that lies enthroned above the slopes of the adjacent wine-growing district and taps the full potential of the prominent space. By directing the complete building southward and opening the structure to the riverside in the farthest possible way, we succeeded to establish an impressive two-story main space, which merges with the outside terrace area and, on top, wins over with numerous nonstandard features.
