We restored and added a new, two-storey shell to the graceful period building with art nouveau elements. For the clients, a growing family, the priorities here were increasing the living space and retaining the feeling of comfort, the charm and character of the beautiful period building in Bonn.

Both shells were treated equally with regard to their exterior (uniform surfaces with a fine, white finish), which limits the perception of old and new to just the various senses of space inside the building. Elements spanning the complete shell, such as the uniform and continuous parquet floors, also visually merge the living spaces together.
