In 2016, the classic, L-shaped bungalow was modernised, restored and both branches were extended. Along the street, the ceiling disk of the sleeping wing was extended past the parking spaces and fitted with three slightly protruding barrel-shaped roofs to increase the clear room height. The building was extended into the garden by way of a two-storey cube fitted with Canadian cedar slats that can be fully folded open. The ground floor area underneath is completely glazed on all sides. The floor covering of large shell limestone slabs running from outdoors to indoors gives the building the character of an outdoor workshop.
