A rounded glass corner marks the transition from the fixed facade units on Neuhauser Straße to the elegant shopping passage in the centre of Munich’s most popular shopping district. The sales area, framed by a delicate full glass display window that traces the route of the passage, leads into the building on one side, following the original configuration. An illuminated ceiling cove follows the passage along this transparent partition wall. At the shop front facing onto the pedestrian zone, the facade can be completely opened up as a folding panel system. When selecting the colour scheme and materials, we placed importance on a uniform, coherent design for the wall and floor surfaces with high-quality natural stone and aesthetic metal sections in a refined bronze shade.
