Info
The two-story penthouse, spanning over 300 m2 and overlooking the rooftops of Oberkassel, impresses with the combination of simple elegance and high-quality furnishings. For the clients, it was important to keep the design as restrained as possible, to allow them to display contemporary art in the living spaces. The formulation of the interior architecture is therefore based on a careful selection of materials and modest surfaces: a wooden floor of warm wenge contrasts with the large, white wall surfaces and raw concrete ceilings. The interior design boasts functional highlights such as the three-sided open fireplace or the long stairs made up of self-supporting individual steps. The wellness bathroom with jacuzzi and sauna and the representative kitchen offer the greatest level of comfort possible while maintaining visual restraint.
